Locking stable flying but not skyriding to pathfinder is stupid

So like, however many hours/hands need to be involved just to get something like Pathfinder and Steady Flight separated, probably requires FAR TOO MUCH logistically, for it to be a ‘sound design choice.’ It becomes much more cost effective to go live with what they currently have, justifying not changing Pathfinder (which does require more development time, money to do, regardless of when they do it/how much it costs) with some nonsensical answer about how players interact with the world having some different meaning depending on how players approach it.

That sounds plausible. The really frustrating part is that players have been complaining about Pathfinder for over a decade. If the developers just paid attention way back then and stopped using Pathfinder every expansion, they would have LESS work to do, more time to spend of making more content, and the CUSTOMERS would be happier. The fact that they’re still clinging to Pathfinder tell me its out of spite - which is all kinds of wrong since they’ve already said Steadfight is left in the game for “accessibility” reasons.

Back when flying was locked behind Pathfinder for EVERYONE, even the White Knights who are now telling disable players to suck it up - they were also complaining about PF when they had to do it in order to fly.
