Forced to do the event whether it sounds good or not, vendor for th rune is in the open world with groups of alliance ganking. Not sure why the vendor isn’t in a city.
So if its a PVE event why do I see any of the other faction in the portal? What happens when people get their rep and start entering the portals to pvp and gank people doing their quests?
PVE event means NO PVP, not minimal.
Are you… playing on a PvP server? It’s a “PvE Event” in the Open World. That does not overwrite the fact it’s still Open World.
I’d WAY rather grind for a few simple hours solo for rep to get my rune even with ganking than have garbage like Combat Potency, where I must gather a full group, run all 3 end dungeons and beg them all to also stick around and kill the overpowered elites I need to spawn in each dungeon to get the special items.
Meanwhile other classes have their preferred runes drop when they talk to a damn NPC or kill a single mob in the outdoor world.
sounds like TC is worried about pvp happening on a pvp server
even though the annoucement 1-2 weeks ago explicitly said pvp would be enabled in the event

Do the Feralas/Hinterlands daily quest. You just need to do a incursion quest to complete it and it gives 1000 rep. 3 days of spending 5 mins to hit Friendly.

on my server I just turn the pvp flag off when i don’t want to pvp.
Lopsided server pvp isnt really fun, i thought blizzard was gonna balance the servers?

Dont worry, layers already allow factions to self segregate where they have advantage. Its like mini realms.
I’m starting to get the feeling that these runes aren’t intended to be unlocked now, like they’re intended on them being unlocked at 60.
I’m about to just play with 2 Runes all the way to 60 and then solo all this stuff later. Imagine the level 60 Runes, they’re gonna have us killing every single raid boss known to man to unlock one rune, I already see it happening.
If you haven’t figured it out yet - Rogues are not welcome in SoD. 3 phases now of being a complete joke of a class with ruined dps/no runes worth while/lacking syenergy/no utility/ bad performance metrics on every median/convoluted “run here, no there, no here again, no there again, wait run back there, now back here” run unlock timesinks…

Speak for yourself. Rogues are fun as hell right now phase one, rogues were fine in bfd. Gnomer sucked cause all the armor. Don’t know how ST will be

Rogues are fun, I would’ve rerolled by now if they weren’t. They do make you run to Silverpine a lot to interact with a box. It’s cute the first couple times.
I made this to camp Blackrock Mountain when 60 comes. I could care less about Cut to the Chase, Honor Among Thieves, raids, Gnomer, raid DPS, means nothing to me. They can lock Cut to the Chase behind Exalted rep for all I care.
I am worried that the profession recipes are tied up with this factions rep. I really hate how the system works for sharing quests and don’t want to deal with this.
Between the scuffed launch and the apparent difficulty of ST I don’t think I want to play this much longer.
im liking the story thing they are going with the runes (just finished up honor among thieves rune). I do admit it takes some time, but its easy to do and keeps to the class fantasy of being a stealthy boy.
Dude are you a troll? I see you multiple times a day complaining about various things. I really hope your not making a post like this while actively playing on a PVP server. I see nothing wrong with getting a small amount of rep to buyba rune.
