Locking mandatory content behind a *daily* playing requirement kills this game

I came back to WoW after about a year, and I remembered what turned me off in the first place: The necessity of logging in every. single. day.

I can only play about 2 days per week, but very long sessions. Locking flying, allied races, etc. behind a daily playing requirement is what killed this game for me. I can put in the hours, but it’s scrunched up into two days. Being that I have two jobs, a family, etc. it feels really horrible to have to login every day to hit my rep.

I’m not saying “make me play less for more,” I’m saying let me play for 7 hours straight and get the same benefit as someone who can play for one hour across 7 days.

Has there been any discussion about this for Shadowlands? I’m guessing no, but thought I’d ask here

I agree that players should be able to play whenever they want. Please get rid of the weekly lockout for LFR also.

They’ll never do this but I have to ask, why?

When you want to do LFR with your friends but you’ve already done all the wings with all your characters that week, you can’t get any regular loot :frowning:

I can play like one week per month. Let that week be exciting, please!

I could support this. It’s the loot lock Blizz won’t do.

You can still have fun with friends, just no more lewt.

Its better than the other raid lockout style where you want to play with friends but you load into a clear raid.

Emissaries are there for 3 days.

I agree with this 100%. I’m in the same boat, can only play Fri, Sat & Sun. All Daddy Blizz has to do is cap everything weekly instead of daily, some folks will still play every day but maybe they’ll stop complaining about feeling “forced” into some playstyle they don’t like. :hear_no_evil::see_no_evil::speak_no_evil:
