If they locked the servers, there is a reason. Which mostly likely involves them fixing things. And if its just you being locked, then you’ve probably been abusing something that wasn’t intended and its now in the “to be fixed” list.

And thus its obvious why you came here to post. You wanted an excuse to troll Retail players and the locked servers (which probably is because they’re fixing something) was a perfect excuse to go do just that.

It is NOT Sunday yet!
Servers are being locked because of huge overpopulation, it’s an attempt to get players to spread out onto other realms.
Most likely. But when you have a piece of machinery as big as WoW, its hard to be 100% sure. Unless they’ve put up a blue post stating the reason for the locked servers.
Pretty sure they did a while ago, the bigger servers are so congested that people are sitting in hours long queues to get in. Along with other issues like limited resources that have to be shared among a population much bigger than what vanilla servers originally held.
You mean locked out from a queue? Try Illidan server 10 years ago where you would spend over 4 hours in a queue only do d/c when you finally got in and had to start all over gain and then it took you two full hours to get your raid togher or if you didnt want to raid and instead wanted to do some PvP, then welcome to a 3 hour AV queue. And WoW players today complain about a 5 minute server lockout and a 10 minute queue.
