Got my dk to 60, geared up to 195 through covenant and honor in 2 days, but…
Need to wait 2 weeks for Venthyr world boss to get legendary.
And it’s not even an option, it’s flat out best and the only choice.
Meaning choices indeed.
Maybe I’m burned out, or the game just isn’t fun with all this great vault focused gearing, the 1 time a week loot drop, and for rest of the week, you got nothing to work towards.
Maybe I could try rated pvp, oh wait, no legendary.
Make the blood lego and wait on it, or play with out a lego, or just pheromones the runner up. You have choices but yes it does suck very badly my Dk was in the same boat.
Matter of fact I think my shaman was too for lava burst one. It was the last one to pop up of I recall
umm actually it’s 3 weeks as last week was boss you needed. I know because I fast knocked out last 2 levels she needed to get to 60 and ran straight to get mine.
The worst part of the one I finally got for my rogue…its on the ToP boss 1 drop. So many ToP runs. And I stayed most of them with no drop. It really makes that run “fun” knowing you aren’t getting a damned thing from it since Boss 1 already denied you.
I only dropped a run when it was like this is my 4 th run of the day …screw this was all I could say. I had many 4 run days…
Also OP what lego are you going for. Many specs stone generals drops a commonly advised one. For blood and frost anyway. Nut sure about unholy tbh. Maybe try these for the wait?
No I do not, 12% damage and haste for 15 seconds every 40-45 seconds is massive since DK has those big bursts every dark transformation.
Not to mention death coil one has much lower value in aoe as you use pandemic.
If you raid sure, which I do not.
M+ and pvp is my butter.
Such a dumb design. Every other legendary is farmable.
Oh no what a horror, you need to run top several times to get it?
Almost as bad as waiting for 2 weeks…
There’s nothing to try, this one is far ahead of any other in all 3 content types.
You should have played the game I came from (years ago) for one of their legendaries. The very long quest line had a number of stops, the worst of which was one in particular.
The item dropped off one mob who had a placeholder who only spawned every hour. The quest mob had a 3-4% chance of popping after you killed his placeholder (but only once an hour). And he only dropped one item.
It was not fun. So as bad as your wait is, there are worse ones out there.
