Ofc though they make hellcaller buffs not effect pvp. Meanwhile classes like ferals and sp get buffed and it effects everything
Hellcaller: Wither damage increased by 25%. This change does not affect PvP combat.
Agony damage increased by 15%. This change does not affect PvP combat.
Corruption damage increased by 25%. This change does not affect PvP combat.
Unstable Affliction damage increased by 20%. This change does not affect PvP combat.
All changes in the right direction, but affliction needed the most help and got the least. It’s absolutely going to be our dumpster spec for the foreseeable future.

OMG again affliction is ignored basically. Got to give Destro the most bestest!! Getting real old. Thank god I am pausing my sub after the 20 year mess. Just no value left after the- move the goalpost again in m+.
Glad they increased the demonic core rate to 100% for dreadstalkers. The previous 50% chance was too much RNG plus we get extra cores which is also nice.
Affliction is just terrible this expansion. In addition to the raw damage, the kit is underbaked

In the offchance a dev actually reads this (lol, i know), affliction desperately needs the following changes as well:
Vile Taint cd reduced to 20 seconds
Phantom Singularity cd reduced to 30 seconds
This would massively improve our cadence in both dungeons and against raid bosses.
TBH, for Aff, these are not going to be even close to enough - folks have been simming it out, it’s roughly a 3% DPS increase for Soul Harvester, 4% for Hellcaller.
Destro, I would say, is already ahead of Aff and it’s buff is significantly higher.
I suspect this change is just going to solidify Aff as the worst lock spec without moving it up the overall meter much - not sure where Demos’ changes will land it, but I suspect it’ll still be on par with Destro.
Im glad no one is seeing these as buffs after getting nerfed 3 times while others did not get nerfed, basically lands us back where we were previously except shadowbolt still hits for nothing
Aff needs a 5% buff in addition to these changes and even then will ne behind most dps specs but would be in line with other warlock specs
UA single application needs to be removed it is not strong enough to warrant that limitation
Demo buffs are good with our dogs back to giving 100% Demonic Core and a nice big buff to G:FG to give it more punch.
I’d love to see the Aff buffs doubled. that would bring our dots back into actually doing real meaningful damage and not just be malefic rapture fodder.
Affliction will never be a dot spec again. The current game design doesn’t allow for dot specs.
then remake the dumb spec. it’s a dot spec with gutted dots because they refuse to let them be a thing.
I was jist gettong used to not needing to worry so much about G:FG and Tyrant timing, too. Oh well. Back to having a big tyrant every 2 mins again.
Aff was overperforming until the Diaboliat nerfs and Destro hasn’t been nearly as good. Chaos Bolts hitting softer than SB’s felt really bad.
It’s not like Aff has been ignored this whole xpac or anything.
