One thing I haven't seen brought up is localization. Will classic be available in english only? Or only languages that were available in vanilla? Or maybe they will update with all the languages that are now available to the present.

I would play the Chinese version. :( Hopefully we will have it. There is a Chinese client out there, all they need is to "copy" and "paste" the words. I doubt this is technical issue.
With that in mind, will there be Latin America / Brazil classic servers?
I think they'll backport the Italian and Portuguese translations.
I'm pretty sure they'll release it in every language available on retail. That is part of the "Blizzard Quality" thing.
It always surprises me how younger gamers prefer their games in their native languages. My native language is French and in Québec (Canada), video games in French were pretty rare before ~2005 so most of us just got used to playing them in English and even learned English this way. French translations just feel really awkward to me, even if they are made by Québecois actors.

English is my native language, I use WoW largely as a fun way to immerse myself and learn Spanish. But I can't stand playing retail for more than about 2 minutes. I believe the Spanish client was released in vanilla, but it may have been in a later patch. I was just curious since I haven't seen it brought up. Also if there will be Latin American servers. I wonder why they never made at least one Quebec server since you can change the client language in the desktop app on a whim, which was not possible in the past. If you wanted to play the French client you probably needed to buy the actual game-box at a French retailer in Europe.
