stores are getting cleaned out around here, no food/paper/whatever. please watch your personal safety for the next week or so, there’s a nutty feel in the air.

Possibly, but covid numbers seem to have hit a new high again - even in Canada. I imagine that’s a concern.

From the maps I was looking a day or so ago, the interior states are getting hit harder with number of cases/rate of spread, so it wouldn’t surprise me if those are the places where the stores are getting cleared out.
People worried about potential violence occuring due to election results i think.
