Loatheb - Naxx

I can see it helping keep the raid up, particularly if you’re not willing/able to burn 80-120 GSPP each attempt @ 20-30g a pop… but your MT shouldnt be dying really either way.

I did acknowledge if your group is hard stuck on Loatheb it’s probably not a bad idea.

Alliance just have the better players. Nothing new.

And given this fight is actually a stop block for people because of the contrived mechanic, having two Priests bite the bullet for it is pretty easy if consumable farming is problematic.

Sorry but if you cant even recognize blatant, obvious, statistically-proven alliance PvE advantages, everything you say will not be taken seriously.

Keep ignoring judgement of light:

you sound like a real fun person. You probably haven’t even gone in Naxx

I guess that explains AV then, alliance are just bad at AV

Wait… Are you suggesting Alliance are Op because of Judgement of Light?

Hahahahahahahahahahajajajajj

No really

Hahahahahahahahahahaha

Thanks man. That was great.:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Come back and talk to me once you’ve managed to even clear spider wing.

Judgment of light sucks for almost every fight, but it shines on Loatheb which is one of the hardest bosses in Naxx. Having a significant advantage in a hard fight is significant, regardless of the fact that the ability is trash otherwise.

Sounds like poison cleansing totem

Healing stream totem does not appear to be on that list for shamans.

iinnntttrrrresssting.

boom headshot lol

It’s the horde equivalent for judgement of light, to heal through poison aura.

A lot of raiders didn’t pick alliance because of a feeling or perception…they’re picking it because going alliance offers distinct PvE advantages. No one has to get defensive about it.

Can the horde explain some of their specific faction difficulties with raiding, mainly with naxx?

And why naxx is specifically so much more difficult for them?

Asking as someone that was going to roll Troll for PvE but went human for looks and to play with a friend who wanted to be a paladin.

9 healers feels good man.

Blessing of kings is enough reason for alliance to be superior. Horde casters rarely get any buffs. Occassionally they get a shaman, but even then mana spring is pitiful. Alliance casters have more hp, bigger mana pool, and way more regen. HP is honestly such an important stat for many fights in naxx.

Alliance have lay on hands that gives tanks huge armor bonuses. Paladins never run oom. BoK scale with gear and is comparable to WF totem in naxx and can be given to entire raid. All dps and healers get salvation.

Shaman do have some nice advantages, but it doesn’t come close to providing utility of paladins.

Again, blessing of kings on main tank. Nuff said

Blessing of Kings and Blessing of Salvation are enough to really favor the crap out of Alliance, before you even get into the pro/con aspects of Shaman and Paladin utility.

Basically all beneficial spells (buffs, shields, heals, etc) seem to trigger the cooldown.

One thing I do debate with myself on this fight as a druid healer is toss out max rank healing touch or regrowth. We’ve only completed a few pulls to work the rotations and buff situations out so I haven’t tired it both ways, but I am curious if anyone has any insight on this?

Vanilla was so long ago I don’t even recall what I used back then. HT seems correct, but who knows.

I was more curious about specific struggles really, but sure I suppose alliance tanks have it easier with 10% more stamina and and salv as a 10% stronger threat reduction than horde has.

Salv is kinda of eh in my opinion though since you usually dont need it and horde have an option for -20%, which is sufficient if you do.
