Loamm Niffen reputation grind

Please add some additional ways to earn Loamm Niffen rep.

extremely easy and it is past season content they aren’t likely to add more ways now.

I’d like if they’d add Loamm and Dreamers rep to the weekly in Valdrakken.

Loam is an annoying rep grind.

The world quests give a pitiful amount of rep. And the little events that are not technically world quests give so little rep that most are not worth bothering with.

Killing rares might have been a good source for rep once (I haven’t been here the whole expansion) but they are generally too tough to solo for most class/spec combos.

Even the common elites in the zone are brutal for what they are. If you aren’t a tank, you are going to be amazed at their damage output. And as a bonus, they are fairly densely packed, so it is easy to find yourself getting wailed on by 3 or 4 at a time.

Probably the best part of the grind is the Sniffenseeking runs, but even that does not stack up a lot of rep each week.

Is there a point to getting the Niffen rep?

So they each would have 2 weeklies that give them rep?

Yeah. Why not? Good for catch up on alts, makes it a bit faster for mains assuming you’re putting in the work for that. More options are pretty nice to have.

You already get 100% increased rep if you have a character that is renown rank 10 or higher, up to rank 10. Or 200% if you have a character at renown 20 or higher up to rank 10 then 100% up to rank 20

Also it would be unfair for the OG renown DF reps that they only have the one weekly.

The main issue with grinding niffen rep is the elite quests which are pretty much impossible to solo on certain classes or if your ilvl is low for the current patch and the fact that you would have to solo all the little events.

As they said though, it’d make it a bit faster for mains assuming they’re putting in the work.

Not to mention it also helps new or returning players catch up to everyone else.

I saw the same kind of arguments made when I had created a thread for a few suggestions at making things more alt friendly with various reputations & other stuff throughout the game (Ironically the majority of my threads ideas were confirmed to fortunately come to fruition with ‘Warbands’ lol).

Cool. Still be good to have Loamm and Dreamer rep on the weekly in Valdrakken. :stuck_out_tongue:

More rep for your main, more rep for your alts, helps late to the game players. Its a good idea I think.

They have a lot more world quests and things to do though. Besides if you’re worried about it then lets add their renowns to the Loamm Renown Weekly and the Dreamers Renown weekly.

Researchers Under Fire gives 250 rep. that’s not bad.

This is the problem ^^^ I spent about 3 hours yesterday trying to complete these in groups, most of the time just standing there in the LFG queue, or killing one thing every 3-4 minutes after my CDs reset. I was still not able to find a group for 1 of the quests and it’s still half-finished. I don’t have 3 hours to work on something like that every week.

I agree they need to do something.

I took a break after forbidden reach, and didn’t come back till emerald dream, so I just did the rep grind from 0-20 with LN.

We had the Anniversary 19% buff and the weekly rep bonus. When the weekly was done, we had the darkmoon faire bonus, and I also made sure to keep a contract up. So I got to benefit from all of that while doing the questlines, in addition to the WQ/weekly.

I can tell ya right now, without those buffs, there’s no way I would have finished.

you can get 1000 from that I believe with epic.

people doing it when the content was current only took 2-3 weeks - without all those buffs.

When the cintent was current, you actually had other people in the zone killing rares, and easy groups for the elite quests and event I’d imagine.

When I did it, it was a ghost town.

I killed very few rares - you don’t get a lot of rep from those. The major thing is the campaign and the other one time quests which should get you to 10 and the digs and the researchers under fire.

Plus now you can get 2500 for each character that does the world quest event.

Well, like I said;

It took me nearly 3 weeks of going there daily with the buffs to max it out.

I wouldn’t have bothered without them.
