Maybe my memory is mush, but I thought for sure at one point we had 0 loading screens when going through the Coreway. Now I get loading screens everytime. I thought the point of the Coreway was to act as a fake loading screen?
When going through the coreway itself, I have not had a single loading screen.
When using the instant elevator, there’s a short one.
Sometimes there is one, think speed and server load is a factor. It’s like the loading screen in Sonic 06 on the loop but nigh instant!
Not exactly related, but once going through the Coreway, I turned around to go back, and then changed my mind and flew forward back down. The Ringing Deeps didn’t load at all and I flew into a blue void as if I had fallen through the zone. Then I got disconnected and couldn’t reconnect to my character for more than about 1 second (each time into the blue zone) until I moved it using the support tool.
There’s an elevator?
You have to unlock it from within the Ringing Deeps. I found it while helping one of the Kobolds.
u need loading screens to give u the stuffs
I’m betting your WoW is stored on a hard drive not an SSD drive. This is one of the most common reasons why someone would encounter longer loading screens or more frequent loading screens than others.
I’m betting you’re wrong.
Well you can’t bet when you’re the one with the source to the answer.
Instead of just assuming its false advertising, you gotta give us more detail on your specs because this is more likely an issue with your PC rather than the server. There is no loading screen traversing through the main tunnel unless you have an older PC or PC with minimum requirements. Have you even tried lowering graphics to see if there’s any difference?
My next question would be the size of the SSD card your game is located in and the amount of free space available too.
This was already answered.
Loading screen when using elevator, or flight path. No loading screen when you don’t.
Has absolutely nothing to do with hardware. Blizz just needs to make this a better experience.
There is no loading screen for me when using the elevator, flight path, or manually flying. You’re concluding based off one one player’s experience. As you can see it varies with other replies and it comes down to your PC build.
I am also being hit with the random loading screen only when using the flight path and it’s only for the ringing deeps. It didn’t happen before, but it is happening now. Must have upset some gods or something.
I have seen a short loading screen while flying into the Ringing Deeps a few times as well. I have a SSD with plenty of space open. It seems to happen more during peak times so I just figured it was a server load/phasing issue.
It doesn’t hurt anything as far as I can tell, and the loading screen is only a few seconds. No big deal.
Yeah you’re right. It just seems bizarre to have no-loading screen tech work great for ZC but not great for this xpac.
Nah more than one. You seem like the type that always blames players for all problems in Blizzard’s games.
There’s two.
I encountered this last night on my Nightborne Warlock and was like what the hell is this, it didn’t last long but was annoying and I had to use another vigor to keep zipping through to The Ringing Deeps.
Interesting it’s also happening while skyriding. So far I’ve only seen it during FPs.
Keeps happening to me atm. Started last night
