I’m not really sure what to title this or how best to explain it but its an issue that has started to occur of late and I’m not sure what causes it.
After playing for a little bit I will randomly hit some sort of loading error where instances, zone transitions, or teleportation will just stop working. This could be entering a delve, any kind of instance (raid, dungeon, horrific vision, dastardly duo), teleporting to the area where brinthe and Dagran are will work but they wont be there and no assets will be loaded, teleporting to Undermine, Stormwind, or using any other portal, and even the zone transition from Dornogol to the Ringing Deeps via the Coreway. I will simply click start delve, the portal, or teleport to instance and it just wont work with no error or anything.
The kicker is when I log in and out then suddenly everything works completely fine, at least for some undefined amount of time before it stops working again. Its been ok to play around but today a dungeon queue popped and I couldn’t enter the dungeon because of this issue and had to log in and out to fix it and at that point the group was already fighting the first boss so i couldn’t zone in and missed the first boss and that felt very bad.
Is this something anyone else is encountering?

I am having the EXACT problem. I started noticing it when queueing for Ahune. I will get accepted into a party, can send messages as in a party, but won’t load into the dungeon. Clicking the “Teleport to Instance” button does literally nothing (not even making a sound or triggering an error).
Earlier today I flew to a delve from Dornogal, and there was just a black wall there. No orange swirly portal, no delve menu triggered when standing in the doorway. I had to log out and in, /reload wouldn’t fix it.
Lastly, just now I tried to load into a TBC Timewalking and had the same issue pop up.
It’s a very frustrating, and seemingly random, problem.

I have been having the same issue. I will be playing for a bit then the error will occur and I will be unable to enter random instances like raids or dungeons and will have to log out, restart wow and log back in to fix it. I haven’t been able to determine a cause for it either.
Experiencing the same issue. I do not believe this is add-on related problem; after messing around on my primary desktop with disabling add-ons, deleting WTF; all the standard troubleshooting steps, I decided to do a fresh install on another machine, with no addons, and encountered the same issue.
For reference:
Windows 11 Home 23H2 22631.5472
Intel i9-13900KF
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080
GeForce Game Ready Driver v 576.88
32GB DDR5 3000mhz
Let me know if I can provide any more relevant info.
Thank you
Also having this issue. Is it a sharding issue? Is there a work around besides logging out and logging back in? Is this even on a list of concerns anywhere?
Exact same issue here. It’s really annoying, but there seem to be very few people talking about it. I wish someone would figure out what is needed to fix it (graphics fix, mod update, etc.)
Such concerns will be dismissed sadly, clearly many people have been having issues over the latest updates. I have uninstalled due to the onslaught of graphical and loading bugs despite fresh install and zero add ons.
After doing some more testing, this appears to happen after hearthing or teleporting out of a delve; it does not occur if you walk out of the delve exit first. There are likely other triggers (I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this occur without having done a delve), but this will recreate the issue consistently.
I’m having a similar issue- especially when coming out of a delve or dragonriding. Either I can’t use portals, or there are no NPCs and have to log out and relog to get things to work. Very frustrating.

I am having all the same issues, I have done everything mentioned here including updating all drivers and firmware no change. Been submitting bug reports but not sure that really does any good anymore.

I keep having this myself. It will randomly just not teleport me into a dungeon. It happens most often after doing delves but not necessarily related to hearth in or out of them for me.
It’s very annoying.
Between these and the access violation errors- I’m thinking something is definitely broken on Blizzard’s end.
Me too but they sure don’t seem to give a damn.
