Hey, y’all. Friendly neighborhood druid here. Trying to figure out how a loa’s blessing actually work… Especially when it involves Nalorakk. Help me out
As far as I know there isn’t a specific “way it works”. Like there isn’t some written out in depth explanation. It’s just “They got this power from the Loa”. And I imagine that’s by design so they can make up whatever special thing later on. Usually though it’s transactional. The Loa gets something from you and gives something to you in return.
Okay thank you
You choose the Loa you want to date and then ask them out.
Or just sneeze in their vicinity. The Loa of Feline Allergies is very kind.
I’m learning a lot about Loa as I read these replies. I know that I’m just a dwarf but I like to think of myself as an open-minded dwarf. Thank you WrA.
Hello, Rawr!
In regards to what is written in lore, benefits and blessings from Loa-worship vary on the Troll and the severity of worship. You’ll notice High Priests/Priestess’ of the Loa are granted the most power in blessings, some even being able to turn into animals, like we see in the Gurubashi raid!
Likely, a player character will never rank up to something that extreme. You’d expect more minor boons. Using Nalorakk as an example, a blessing of strength, stamina, perception or a more spiritual relationship between your character and all bears/children of Nalorakk could be plausible. If you want something more in depth, perhaps he was gifted a child of Nalorakk as a companion of the forests.
Gifts and blessings come in different forms, judge it based on devotion.
