The idea of multiple servers is outdated, if you level on one of the new servers or lower pop, 3 months into the game release, the game will die and you will be forced to transfer. Saying this is a player created problem, and to level on a lower pop server is terrible game design, blizzard SHOULD know better. Layer the realms and be done with these queues, done with the low pop servers like it seems so obvious, I feel like im taking crazy pills here. Blue steel, latigra magnum, theyre all the same look!

They have dead servers up right now for WoW classic still which have nobody on them day after day.
Tell me, why do you think Blizzard can’t merge smaller servers together into one?
Tell me, why do you think blizzard can’t utilise the infrastructure hosting those dead classic servers (0 on each faction at any given moment) to put up a WoTLK server?
If you think everyone coming back to the game that rolls on a new server is going to leave after 3 months (a very dumb low estimate as well), why does it bother you? Why do you care? If you’re not on that server & it’s going to completely die, why do you care?
Layering sucks, it bloats the market on the server & allows for people to take advantage to farm materials faster, that’s crap.
Maybe you started WoW really late, but rolling on a fresh server is a lot of fun & a lot of people wanted to play that way.
Blizzard don’t even consider the oceanic region to be a region anymore, they get nothing
Your servers are being flooded by Aussies & Kiwis as well & there are many thousands of them

Easy fix if they cared:
Offer temporary server transfer to low pop for, idk, like a month or two. Then, your character can transfer back freely provided the server they’re transferring to is the original. Blizzard don’t like free though…or logistics.

Yep…I just tried to login to the prepatch to see what’s going on and there’s an hour queue on Faerlina. Truly pathetic considering it is 2022 and we KNOW they know how to layer servers. Are they trying to push people away from Classic WOTLK to save Retail or something?

thats not how layering works. just because they add 7 layers to the server doesn’t mean that server load is any different . still can only have X number max but now its y on layer 1 -4 and they add up to total to X.
For real though. Do you think i can get a boost refund or do i need to call Saul?
