New players combing the forums should see this instead of the other craptastic posts that the retail haters who can’t get along with others flood us with.
There is no shortage of dedicated, interesting, comical, helpful, friendly players on Emerald Dream. Even if they’re goblins.

Except a huge chunk of the ED forum is simply complaining about the state of the game and furthermore the state of the server. It’s been the way for years and will continue to be that way into the foreseeable future so get used to it… not to mention this forum is maybe 5% as active as it used to be… which again is another reflection of how dead retail and ED is.
You guys remind me of those 2 guys in ‘weekend at Bernies’ that prop the corpse up pretending like he’s still alive. While bernie, the dead guy, is ED.
The only consistent conversation point anymore is retail players relentlessly crying about the state of retail, and classic players constantly talking about how good their servers are. Hmmm seems like an obvious trend. Turn your brain on lol.

I guess that’s what you do though, when you’ve blatantly been proven wrong, a contrived attack on old Uncle Heltor. Thing is, if I disappeared forever, right now, countless ED players will literally remember me UNTIL THEY DIE. I still don’t know who you are beyond one of the like 5 people still playing retail lol. As far as grob goes, I just started playing on it, skipped vanilla.

Mostly because the discussions for the Grobb server happen over on reddit or within the discord communities. Kept there mostly because of still how the blizzard forums get moderated, which is why there was a mass exodus from these forums around wod/legion that transitioned most discussions between Emerald Dream residents moved to twitter…and then that got moderated too.

It’s a temporary home. my old account was more VeCo and a short ED stint-hence my looking into the forums again.

Retail got boring and it was too much to work with imo. Got weird and easy made no sense to stick too retail. Honestly missed the good old days but yet its not the same no one duels no one is ever outside org fighting like before. You remember Heltor. Despite that classic is better and now that we got Tbc is getting slightly better. Waiting for that Wrath for sure that’s gonna be the best.
