So what out of curiosity would you want a preexisting race like Saurok or… Sethrak or something entirely new?

EDIT: You know I joke about it but in hindsight it actually isn’t too far fetched. Zandalari which are from my understanding like the precursor to all Trollkind are pretty scaly and elves are descendant of Trolls so Elves developing scale like traits is feasible.

I’m totally for Sethrak 100% of the way. Horde. Alliance. I don’t care. Love them!
But they’re definitely a serpentine reptilian race.
As far as lizardmen, Saurok are cool! 
But my first vote would be for Sethrak.

I want a proper amphibian like Naga or Mer-people, spider people, sethrak, or vampires.
If we get any of those I’ll be satisfied. We won’t, though.
Edit: I’d just really love to see a race that gets big racial benefits for being in the water. Afterall, they only get them rarely. Imagine the PVP maps with rivers and lakes, and how control of these would be super valuable to this race, or they could maybe move faster through them making them viable escape routes. I guess kind of like what Druid already does…

I still recall really enjoying the Dragonsworn/Drakonid ideas from waaaay back in Wrath. Amusingly, they’re even getting some neat new Hearthstone cards to show different genders of the drakonids. Which doesn’t mean anything, really, and is just a coincidence since they’re using everything possible to flesh out the “dragons expansion”… but I recall seeing vulpera cards before vulpera being playable, too?

Yep. There’s even some Sethrak cards and a Sethrak hero as well.
Would totally play a Drakonid if it looked good.

Oh yeah, the Shaman “hero” (villain). Sethrak may still have a chance, and… frankly, I hope they get in. I’ll roll up a Devoted pretty quick.

I love reptiles, and would love to have either of these races become playable. Although i do prefer the Sethrak a little more than the Saurok.

I was really hopeful for draknoid since the dragon Man model introduced in cataclysm uses a worgen skeleton. With 8.3 being dragon heavy I’m kind of hoping 8.3.5 might introduce them.
