Living Infernal Core not effected by Collector's Bounty

I’ve seen quite a few posts about this but wanted to make another for visibility. The Living Infernal Core appears to be not effected by the Collector’s Bounty buff. My friend and I ran the Nighthold together on normal/heroic/mythic difficulties 100 times (200 combined chances) and we didn’t see the Living Infernal Core drop once. This is well out of the 5%+ drop chance.

Living Infernal Core not properly buffed for the Collectors Bounty?

There are numerous comments on Wowhead – as well as my own personal experience – that suggests the 5% drop rate increase has not been applied to the Living Infernal Core that drops from N/H/M Gul’dan in Nighthold. Note to those who are ready to chime in with “but it dropped for me”: yes, there’s still a chance for it to drop. This report is about the Collector’s Bounty increase not appearing to be applied.

+1, been trying to get this and have about 100+ tries. Still no luck.

I feel that way about the underrot crawg. I’ve been after it for years before the event and still don’t have it. I’m sitting on something like 490 attempts across all my characters.

I got Living Infernal Core last night after 20 attempts. RNG is RNG.
