Little touches, even if they are creepy

Always nice to find interesting little touches.

Was looking around in Stormwind today and found myself in the basement of the Training Hall, 79.94, 70.60. Noticed a painting over Gerald Black right shoulder, the guy leaning on the barrel where something or someone is trying to get out.

Painting is of either a very unpleasant looking man with long curly hair and beard, or a bearded lady. Anyways, I thought I was seeing things, but if you stand in front and move side to side, forward and back, his eyes follow you.

You really notice it if you zoom in to first person and stand a couple of feet in front and move side to side.

I’ve seen that reported at other places, but not this guy. He looks pretty unhappy, wonder what his story is, and how his painting got stuck on the wall in the back of a basement. Probably why he’s unhappy.

The Training Hall has a lot of paintings of who I assume are important people in their class, so I guess this guy was somebody. But I couldn’t find any info on who the paintings are in WoWpedia or anywhere else.

That’s good stuff! I found a couple more of those moving eye paintings, in Scholomance, in the Viewing Room, a boy and a girl painting one on top of the other, they eyes follow you around…Now I’m on a quest to find all of them, but that will never happen I bet :slight_smile:

I don’t even do them and I still think the easter eggs are great, some are so complex it’s amazing they’re found
