I helped Lionel the Lion Fish by kicking him into the water (rude) and feeding him 5 crabs (nice). In return he left and no chest spawned. Reload and Relog did not cause it to spawn.
The same operation for my wife yielded the chest and pet.

I just completed the quest as well, and received no loot. Again, reloading and re-logging did not fix the issue. I have not received in-game mail either.
Edit: After some time while typing this bug report the chest did show up.
Same Issue. Finished feeding lionel the crabs, no chest spawned for the reward. Returned multiple times to the location afterwards and still no chest.
Same. No chest.
