Linxy, it's time. Blood elf druids

The Sunstrider isle quests reflect how sad we have to kill lynxes too but that it’s necessary and at the time we’re like in survival mode and have to do what’s necessary

You better not be making this claim because of a tree

Cuz it was the lowborn non arcane night elves who had the emerald dream stuff

If we wanna make a tier list for druid connections, pretty much the only thing lower than a blood elf would be a goblin lol, even nightborne have some kind of connection because of the arcane fruit

It’s because of our history. We are linked still to our genetic cousins. We changed into high elves because of our trek to the EK. We evolved. But didn’t forget our past.

We had the tree, because that was part of those traditions. We didn’t have it because we were appropriating some culture we were never part of.

The trolls, who weren’t druids

So yea, you kinda split off before the whole druid elf thing happened, yall went hunting for another power source and found one, the night elves went tree mode

You had the tree cuz it was growing there and your new well surged it with arcane magics

It wasn’t intentional, you just accidentally made a tree big

Nelves come from these same trolls.

It wasn’t an accident. Thasalah was something nourished and cared for.

And like Lannis has already stated, we had a link still to nature in our quests. Farstriders have a link to nature.

You came in here claiming we hate nature and now don’t want to take the L, lol.

blood elves are probably the least connected to nature of all the races in the game imo.

they’re mana addicts that didn’t have what it took. :100:

Definitely wrong.

Correct, and eventually made the connection to druid stuff themselves, they weren’t born being druids

Prove the tree was intentionally created cuz even that link you posted says nothing about them doing that

They feel bad about killing some cats, that hardly druidism

Nature isn’t very high on your priority list and never was

Because we cultivated our forests to look the way they are on purpose. It’s explained even in our race description.

Not saying feeling bad about killing cats is druidism. Stop being so reductive. The overall message from our quests is sadness of the state of what has happened to nature in silvermoon. We had lost everything.

Neither is magic. I’m literally a warrior. But if people want to be druids and Blizz wants everyone to be Druids, there is a path.

" Overview: The blood elves are a proud, haughty race, joining the Horde in Burning Crusade. They represent a faction of former high elves, split off from the rest of elven society; they are also survivors of Arthas’ assault on Silvermoon. Blood elves are fully dependent on magic, having revelled in its power for so long that they suffer horrible withdrawal if it were to be taken away."

Doesn’t say anything about that there, give your source on how you guys really catered and made that tree great

Dang, your place got trashed cuz scourge and you feel bad

Guess that makes you druids

Your racials are connected to magic, it doesn’t matter what your class is lmao

Especially since even disregarding the fact Farstriders have that nature connection, Druids specifically could be a faction of Elves healing Quel’thalas which our quests also emphasize that Blood Elves have a vested interest in healing and repairing

Yea, all that nature magic they did

Wait they didn’t do any of that, they just shot people with bows and ran around weirdly fast apparently

most popular class should not go to the overpopulated race

now panda druids i can definitely agree with. hell, i would agree with mechagnomes being druids before i would agree with belves…

The Sin’dorei never had a connection to the Light to become paladins, so it could be done in the same manner. The Sin’dorei used Arcane manipulation to capture a Naaru, so the same could be done to allow from Druidism, like the Sin’dorei did in the Botanica. They were able to manipulate nature to turn Eversong woods into a perpetual springtime, so they could accomplish Druidism. Although, it’d be a warped form, but they still would have the powers just the same. Plus, the Queen in Ardenweald could fill in the gaps, since Ardenweald was helped by the Sin’dorei.
If Trolls can receive druidic powers by some gods, then the same can, and has in smaller examples, be accomplished with Sin’dorei druidism.

I feel like w all due respect your take on Blood Elf lore isn’t that of a BE fan / people who are fans of and know that story specifically like Soule hasn’t been wrong in this thread

Like you’re kind of just saying clickbait statements that are easily disproved while moving the goal posts a bit as you’ve gone along to continue finding a reason to say no and thats fine but again Soule hasn’t been wrong and has challenged several of your statements

Eversong Woods was once visually indistinguishable from its southern woodlands, now called the Ghostlands, and together they comprised the Eversong Forest. Thousands of years ago, the forests were claimed by the Highborne, eventually naming themselves the high elves, who battled the resident Amani populace and took the land for their own. After creating the Sunwell, the Highborne became nourished, which enabled them to create their cities and shape the forests.

Again, disputing your claim that we “hate nature.”

Everything else, can be developed through that thing of writing stories. Through imagination. Since this is all fiction and characters who are fictional are maluable and not real or set in stone.

There is a path if Blizz wanted to take it. And they do according to Holinka.

Wow, on rare occasion I can use it to purge magical shields. Such magic, such wow. That’s equal to the houseplants thing.

ITT: lots of blood elves that have no idea what the history of their race is. they’re a mana addicted race that almost destroyed the world twice via greed & magic

just a quick google search explains why blood elves don’t connect to nature.

dwarves & pandas make way more sense :100:
