Vulpera would be an addition that makes sense.
There’s pretty strong hints that they’re another Wild God offshoot race, so that’s an ED connection.
Pandaren are a little more off-the-wall but could also be made to make sense because of the Celestials.
If we’re talking expanding race/class options I still think DH should be first up. They’ve been elf only for way too long now.
Okay, new rule. Any blood elf who wants to go scrabbling around in the dirt turning into ugh an animal is immediately demoted to high elf and sent to wait offstage until Blizzard remembers they exist.

At this point, I don’t care. I was all about preserving the sanctity of peoples’ class / race identity and all that, but it’s obvious no one else cares. Sure. Lemme play an elf, toss it in something cute and turn into a cat whenever I want.

Considering the current mis-balance of druid classes between each faction, minus the argument of just dissolving faction lines and allowing each race to roll onto each faction by choice (even if it’s not interchangeable during gameplay, think pandas/dracthyr)… then the Alliance would be “next up” for another druid first… probably with arguments in favor toward draenei (shaman argument), with an easy community win of the long requested gnome druid…
A new horde druid argument would be in favor of Nightborne first…
Though I am in favor of Void/Blood elf druids if a lore connection can be made - AND - if Void elves stop being discriminated against and can get pallies. The argument of the connection to the void is loose at best considering Blood Elves past regarding the light
Heck yeah. Belf druids! It makes sense and is in lore already. Plus pretty sure anyone willing to respect nature can become a druid sooo.
It would make no sense for anything else to be a Demon Hunter, just like it wouldn’t make any sense for anyone other than a Dracthyr to be an Evoker.
Now I do think there’s tons of room to open up the Dracthyr to other classes, but not vice versa.
But for classes that aren’t bound to a race, I think it would be nice to see more options for as the game continues to grow. There’s no reason more classes can’t be Shammys. I do understand the issue with Druids, but I just want a horde elf or human-like race to be a Druid. I don’t wanna play a Troll or animal race.

I think that’s debatable. Evokers use the inherent powers of their fundamental nature, but nothing about Demon Hunter powers have to do expressly with being an elf. They would need lore to explain why more are being made, but that wouldn’t be hard. The remnants of the Legion are still out there and there’s plenty of people with a strong need to end them.
The Kens and Barbies can take a number. Mag’har druid is the future.
To be totally fair though, this was back in TBC when Blizzard had no idea what they were doing or how to convey differences involving classes from racial specific things.

So if your reason is lore then do you also think all female nelf druid toons should be deleted? If not then thats hypocrital cause lore states all nelf druids are men and the women must become priestesses of Elune.

Yes, there are elves (and murlocs and gnolls and many other races) that cast nature spells. No, that’s not enough to make you a druid. Yes, I think there should have been a nature caster that didn’t shapeshift, to represent those people. But it’s a little late for that now.
