Link AOTC please

Most of those group never get there. Either fall flat on Ashvane coz can’t make the dps check, Org coz noone know how to handle transition well especially w/ adds. Or and this is the 1, don’t know how to kill queen’s court evenly. I’ve been in group where people kill 1 boss with the other still at 20%

Could you show me another way of proving that you’ve cleared the content before?

This. Cannot agree more.

I would pay a million gold for that to be a weekly event on twitch with casters.

Can’t wait for next week when mythic cross-realm EP opens up, these “Please link AOTC” will turn into “Please link CE.”

I think (Idk really) you have to make your own group to get aotc, if there aren’t already groups out there getting it.

Imagine thinking that if AotC gets removed, people won’t just come up with a different metric to exclude scrubs.

Link fake achieves if it’s still possible.

Unethical as hell, but unless someone checks. No one cares, because they have a raid to setup, and other people to vet. There used to be an addon way back. I haven’t need it since ICC, but yeah. Just read guides, get 99% used to your rotation and facerolling through content isn’t that hard either.

In my experience it’s typically returning players, and not just casuals. Or someone finally decides with worth the time to finally run heroic. Current guild I’m in now just had five people return after an almost 11 month hiatus. They all used to raid mythic, so the whole “casual” arguement behind it is pretty lackluster. I just decided to run it last week, I raided pretty heavily for quite a few xpacs as well. And same thing from the past few xpac,

I’ve notice a lot of the late raiders are people who are returning, or couldn’t raid for a hot minute due to life and playing catch up. You’ll run into some casuals though. But not as much as people expect, this pretty much gets mitigated as we throw guides into the discord or chat. Most people are willing to wait the extra 5-7 mins per boss for someone to quickly review it for a first time clear. I even express it to even the experienced raiders or even if someone’s cleared it. It’s just a best practice I’ve used for years though. But I digress.

It would be easier to get into a group if you at least complete the normal version of the raid. This way people would know that you at least know some of the mechanics.

I would check their parses on warcraftlogs before inviting in that scenario :P.

Probably the same type of person who wants LFR removed.

Most of the people on the forum who say this are trolling, they aren’t even good players.

Right on there. I bought my legion ahead of the curve. I knew the fight but they asked me to just die and stay dead to not disrupt them I just didn’t have a raiding guild nor the time to find a new one and get myself. But after I had the achievement I’m sure I could have joined a pug with 0 experience after dropping some gold into it.

AOTC is a pointless way to just keep people out. As it’s been said, you can buy your proof, so that kills any posterity in it being used legitimately.

I don’t really care about AOTC since it never affects me since It’s too much effort to have to like… find a guild and friends and then like raid on top of all that. But it is a pointless litmus test anyways.

Next step make your own group and ask Aotc to get Aotc
Then join groups that ask Aotc

Pugs are dumb :+1:

You posted in the warrior forum that you’ve only killed the first 3 bosses on normal mode.

Go finish the raid on normal mode.

Then pug some bosses on heroic.

Then, if you can beat the 2nd last boss and actually get to the last boss, you’re about ready to try and get a group for it.

You just want to skip progression and get carried to AOTC with no effort.

Good luck, but I don’t like your chances and I’m not rooting for you.

Buy one. Do like everyone else.

Seriously though, AoTC is idiotic and needs to be removed.

Because this happens every time… oh wait it never does, MB.

I would pay irl money to watch that, so long as we could listen to voice comms.

Kind of like when these people thought it was ilvl holding them back. Blizzard then devalued ilvl as a metric, thus raiderio was born.

Omg imagine the voice coms! Not that half the groups would even use voice.
Bliz please make this a thing haha
