Welp egg on my face I’ve never done a free xfer before so was sitting last week expecting another wowhead article and never saw one.
How was anyone supposed to know there was one forum thread that randomly got updated with minuscule windows opening and closing? What a terrible way to do anything. Hell the original blue post doesn’t even say that!
Blizzard you gotta work on this communication thing. I ended up on a terrible pvp server where now all my friends have quit and it’s the only thing about SoD I am not enjoying. The rest of it is honestly fantastic.
But now to hear I may have missed a window that I didn’t even know existed cause you didn’t even tell us that’s how it works… you can do better, really. Please just let me play how I want to play…

ive been checking adamantly but with a job i cant seem to catch the windows. i purchased the transfers and still couldnt do it. can we open windows that would work with people with 9-5’s ?

i missed the first couple transfer windows for this same exact reason lol. i saw the first wowhead article announcing that they were going to happen, and i was at the very least expecting another wowhead article announcing that they were open. by thursday i decided to check the forums only to find that i had missed the first few windows.

all my friends left to wild growth, I just want to follow behind them without releveling everything again. working all week, but can never seem to catch one of these tiny xfer windows.

Yup, my buddy was just lucky enough to be working from home and got his but neither of us realized it was gonna go like this and I ended up missing it.

Love sitting here on my day of spamming refresh on a forum page to see if I get the chance to xfer my character to the Realm I’m actually playing on instead of playing the game

Interesting as I can select the Free Character Option but cant continue through the process after typing in the real transfer server name. Just stays greyed out.

Same. Tried to do incursions today and 2 rogues camped me. Sat there with a 5 minute rezz timer wondering why the hell I continue to play this garbage game and give blizzard my $16.30 a month.

I gave up when the time in cali past 5pm. I waited all weekend to hear some news today, but sadly i have come to the realization that my SoD experience probably ends here. FeelsBadman
from what i read above. one of the transfer windows was at like 1am. so you never know lol, it could still happen
