I understand on hardcore not allowing resurrections as it is the point of the hardcore challenge to level to 60 without dying. However, there are several quests in the game that require death to even obtain. Also raiding and falling to Onyxia or Rag is an honorable death but also one where the heroes should be able to rise again. I propose a limited number of post 60 resses, say max 6. This would allow max players more options than petri. A challenge is a challenge but I think this meets the intent. There are just alot of ways to die that is not the players fault and once obtained the challenge is over… staying aliv at 60 means no end game.

I mean people have been clearing all the raid content on hardcore. If you want raiding with death then era does exist. Not to mention petri flask exists to mitigate death risk at 60.

I’m happy with what Blizzard has done already.
Death on the hc servers is permanent but if one falls they have the option to revive for free on a Classic Era server.
See? Resurrection is available at 60.

No there aren’t. Those that kill you were changed for hardcore.
And 60s dying and rerolling is a major benefit to the economy of the game. It keeps inflation down by removing much more gold and valuables from the economy than a normal server does, and it keeps the low level economy vibrant so people who aren’t 60 can still participate in the market without spending 100g on a level 13 wand, if they can even find one, because there are more low level characters around than a normal server.
Permanent death is renewal. EVE online knows this, and has since its inception. It’s why it has the most developed and stable economy of any online game.

Your character never actually dies. Transfer to softcore, and rez all you want.
