In the dragonflight preview for professions

It states that:
- Up to five of these crafted pieces can be equipped at once, with 2-handed weapons counting as two.
Does that mean we are limited to five pieces of spark gear? We are obviously limited on embellishments to two, but no where in game does it mention this five item restriction.
With sparks becoming effectively unlimited on Tuesday (just increasingly rare) I can definitely see the forum posts already of the lucky people and people that grinded it that 6th spark spend gold to make an item and ultimately not be able to wear it
That limit was thrown out the window. The only limit is that you can only have two embellished pieces at once, which are either already included on a given item [i.e. the Flaring Cowl’s radiated fire damage every 3s] or manually applied to it [i.e. Fang adornments]. (Note that the alchemical flavor pocket embellishment does not count against this limit, but is exceedingly rare, and cannot be put on items that have a natural embellishment already on them.)

This was changed AGES ago. If it was limited to 5 sparks it would say so in game, like it does with embellishments, using the Unique-Equipped tag.
The first bullet point under “Powerful Crafted Equipment”
Some of these items have more powerful effects and are labeled as Embellished. Others do not but can have optional reagents included that add a powerful effect, making them Embellished. While you can wear as many un-embellished items as you want, only two Embellished items can be equipped at once.
