I was delighted to find my anniversary present contained Lil’ Nefarian.
Immediately I learned him and set things up to level him.
Sadly his icon has turned red and clicking on it does nothing but cause the messages “revoked” and “can’t summon” to appear.
All my toons, including the one that learned him, see the same sadly unusable, still level one, baby dragon.
I’m seeing this as well. I can’t summon him or add him to a battle pet slot. He shows with a blue name, but his icon is greyed out in the list.
There’s a thread about this in the bug report forum, so it looks like it’s a common problem. (I’m also seeing reports of issues with the mount from the raid.)
I’m sorry it’s affecting you too. Pretty disappointing, isn’t it.
I’ve submitted a bug report and expect Blizzard will get it fixed quickly.
I have the same issue. He worked fine until I logged out.
I got the same thing pet and i beat the quest for the mount got the mount in the mail loged of came back gone

Looks like they got it fixed. Nefarian now can be summoned and battled by both my Horde and Alliance toons.
Mine still isnt working on any toon, perhaps its not quite fixed.

There are a fair few bugs at the moment. They appear to be aware of some of them, at least. I imagine we might have another maintenance tomorrow morning to address the multitude of issues with the anniversary items/events.
