TBH I outright refuse to respond or even read any of your posts as long as you continue so cringeworthily ending them with “Semper Fi” like that. If you’re a veteran: cool story, but no one here cares. It comes across as showing off/pretentious.

The old HUD UI is indefensible in today standards you people just like stuff to stay in the past and not change and getting with the time.
And then there’s me: I like the Ukrainian flag you got going on. 
Is it too much to ask for the old version as a toggle? When they first remade the player models you could choose the old version

Oh stop acting so obtuse. It’s a fantasy UI that didn’t NEED changed in art style. And they could have kept an OPTION. Art style is no longer WoW art style. It’s generic bland and dumb to some people. Seriously, just back off. People are allowed to feel differently than you.

That was then and that was before the new animation and modern stuff started to kick in and the old model can’t handle all the new technology being implemented.
My GF is from Ukraine. She’s a real sweetheart. 
Also, I went over the Ukraine back in March to get her and her parents out of there. Ya know, it briefly occurred to me that such things might better be left to younger men.

You think it’s that dumb when it fits World of Warcraft more so then before.
A 3D model is an easier swap out than a full interface. They rewrote and modernized large potions of both the frontend and the APIs that communicate with the engine. The old UI simply wouldn’t work on the current game version. Not to mention that there is no way to select new talents and or any new profession features in the old UI. If they were to keep supporting that they would have to maintain two entirely different projects going forward, doubling the required work for any kind of change. This was simply never going to happen.
I can’t even move everything with the new UI… the menu for Tongues keeps disappearing and when it IS there it’s stuck in the same place and won’t move.

Good for you! I’m glad you did. I haven’t been able to find out if any of my relatives got out of there.
Subjective and I disagree. Not a fact, just your opinion. You are allowed to have that opinion, but you are NOT allowed to tell people theirs are wrong and that they can’t ask for an option.

What I have figured out after 2 days of monkeying around with it, is that you have to disable all your old addons, then use edit mode to move things around. Although, how to save it so you don’t have to reset it every time you log back in is something I’ve yet to figure out. I keep hitting save, even character specific and spelling the names right, nada. Still have to reset it when I log back in.

Options is impossible due to modernization and once the New HUD UI is implemented the old HUD UI is good as gone due to incompatibility.
