Don't let the haters bury such a revolutionary game that the community knows it really wants.
I would downvote this thread if I could.

After seeing that I now have unsubbed from my three wow accounts and also flat out refuse to after this thread even look at a blizzard product. This such a pos decision. They are all about the buck but if they said PC and Mac they would have make so many bucks it would have been dumb money. They say mobile and now they won't see half not even 10% of what they could have. Blizzard died on this day and now they are ea to me. Farewell friends and hopefully u pull out too as this company is dead and so is their products.

Refer to my other thread: Diablo Immortal is not the only product for the Diablo franchise in the works. It was the only new thing announced, yes. Sadly. But it's not the end.

Whether it's the end or not, it's a dramatic shift in thinking for a franchise built on hardcore games and not mobile games. It's blatant disregard for its community's wishes. The people who made Diablo as popular as it is - the fans of the series - have been ignored. Nobody wanted this! There is no defense of it that makes sense. Is it the end? Probably not after this backlash. But D3 was released 6 years ago with a recent expansion. And a mobile game is the follow up. It's so stupid.
For what it's worth, I don't like or play Diablo. But this is really sad.

on the bright side, they're in a position where even if that game remains poorly received, in order to make up for it, it essentially has to be everything the players ask it to be.
If it contains any microtransactions, it's probably DOA, and the backlash will be even worse than it already is.
