Like actually epic delve loot

Can we throw in some epic “epic” gear that is actually epic? For solo players, delve gear is quite bland, which is fine - but a slight chance for something cool and slightly more powerful would be nice. I know that would be asking a lot and it would never drop for me, but an undead can still hope.

No, delves are not appropriately difficult enough to award unique cantrip or “very rare” style loot

i might step up from 8’s to 11’s if there was a mount or toy or somethin to make up for the extra hassle and time

I don’t know that I agree. Delves have a set that is unique to delves and we also get pets, toys, and trinkets that are unique to delves.

We get access to Hero track gear from doing delves, as well.

I think delve gearing is both fun and leveled correctly for the content.

I would be all about more unique cosmetics from delve seasons. I would be all about having weapons with special embellishments that only drop in delves.

I would be all about a delve “tier” set that gives special procs or abilities/boosts exclusively inside delves.

As for power/item level, however, I think delve loot is right where it needs to be.

The delve progression track and Undercoin vendors already offer toys and unique mount features. The delve chests also give exclusive-to-delve access pets and recipes.

You do get toys and mounts from Zekvir/Underpin tho

My biggest complaint with delves is WAAAY too many trinkets and they are all terrible.

I love borrowed power, as long as that power is fun to play way (corruptions and the like), having to regear season to season is exactly why I play ARPGs. I never agree’d with Ion that it was a problem. The problem was spending too much time balancing and implementing crazy permutations of traits and powers because they locked covenants (initially).

Again, the problem wasn’t borrowed power it was the friction of change THEY created.

What is your definition of “epic”? Getting the “correct gear” to achieve a certain threshold for secondaries? Going for meta? Impressing friends?

I can certainly say none of these things matter. While impressing friends would be quite the feat, they will immediately forget that you got that one chest piece champion track gear. Which by the way, getting it is really easy. The most you have to do is a T7 Delve and you’re on your way. Using a coffer key only speeds up loot drops… but by A LOT.

Like I’m not even goofing around here. The recommended ilvl for a T7 Delve, I believe, was 580 or 590. Maybe 600. I was ilvl 550.

But why does delve players getting loot bother you? I don’t main delves but it’s cool if they can get some fun loot.

Agreed.

Disagree. Some of them are actually A-Tier for some specs. Sure, some of them are garbage, but that’s true for the entire season’s massively bloated trinket menu in all content forms.

I’m a delve player. I love getting delve loot. I spend a lot of time in delves this season.

But Nyzstra is not wrong. Delve loot is exactly where it needs to be for item level and player power. You can outgear T11 delves right now with loot you get from doing only delves.

My main character here does M+ and Heroic raiding. My priest alt, who has done literally nothing but delves this season, is less than 10 ilvls behind my main. That’s good enough.

We have access, as solo delve players, to hero track raid gear and gilded crests via delving only. Delve loot is perfect and more than adequate, just as it is.

I love my delve trinkets… haha. Both the Mechano Core Amplifier and Suspicious energy drink are great for me… passive dps boost all the way without having to add anything to the rotation.

one of my delves got dropped an LFR nerubar spear but it was a season 2 champion piece …

aint complaining

The hassle and time for the gilded crests is easy peasy.

But they aren’t asking for higher Item level, they are asking for more fun loot… What’s the issue?

That’s pretty cool

Delve Trinkets are > Dungeon Trinkets for my spec. Not sure what more you want.

I added the bold text.

Yes, they are. And if you read my responses in this thread, you will see that I agree about the “cool” and “unique” and “fun” parts. More delve loot = YES. Higher ilvl loot = NO.

That’s my opinion, and it has nothing to do with being “bothered.” I am not bothered and would not be bothered.
