Lightsmith - Prot pally running out of mana

On live realms, on a target dummy in Dornogol, with my current talent tree build for prot, haste/mastery geared, it takes 1:50 mins to oom from using only shining light word of glory procs. This is what I use for tanking m+ on live. At the very least, it got me ksm at 605 ilvl.

With armament cooldown from shining light usage, and +30% block chance from WoG usage, lightsmith prot pallys can be heavily incentivized to use all their shining light procs. Doing so spends mana at a rate faster than it can be generated, eventually leading to being oom.

Is it intended that prot should have to throttle their shining light consumption?
Is there any change being considered to the mana efficiency of prot lightsmith and it’s shining light WoG usage?
How is faith in the light supposed to be used? With lightmith and a high haste build, the buff can be kept up a high % of the time, but doing so will oom you.

They need to cut the cost of Prot’s WoG. This is the only solution that won’t create “undesirable” spillover effects for holy paladins speccing into LS or in pvp for anyone playing prot there.

Actually meant to post this in the beta forums, but yea, seems like bad design if I’m supposed to ignore these procs when they have cooldown reduction and mitigation associated with them.

Everything about prot lightsmith is spamming power as fast as possible to keep your cooldowns low. Having to spam WoG wastes holy power and is a dps loss so we’re screwed for doing our job.
