Lightning Shield and Spell Reflect

Trying to force myself into lightning shield, and making use of Spirit Wolf DR in pvp.

Something to note…

Spell reflect will reflect the entirety of lightning shield for 5 seconds or until its cancelled. The reflected shield dmg doesn’t count as a spell reflected for purposes of ending the spell reflect. Was testing it out in a duel.

It’s minor, but still a bit frustrating (especially with our only other shield costing a talent). Earth shield seems to be mandatory in a matchup against warriors, otherwise just helping them kill you.

i wonder if it happens with elemental too. my guess is probably?

i wonder if that affects lightning shield maelstrom generation ?

I didn’t test it as elemental, but I imagine its still reflected and all they have to do is punch you. The maelstrom generation should still go off I think, since its damaging a target…but who knows.
