Love this spell!!!
Does a ton of damage CC and ability to make distance/close distance or get into position to thunderstorm them off the cliff.
Not only that but shaman having kinda garbage CC for a long time I love using this on Rogues so they can get a take of their cheapshot/kidney shot and watch them die.

Yeah just realized that lightning lasso does tons of damage along with the stun. I was getting 8500 dams per tick which was kinda crazy
I dont get 8500… its usually like 6k for a crit. still decent damage. 10k total when you have 30k hp is significant.
I mean crits on lasso with skyfury is absolutely nutty - but I have 9% crit so it rarely happens _o_/. Honestly looking at the ladder I see a few eles rocking the full crit build over haste but I can’t even imagine playing lower haste than 15%.
Well It was wpvp in the maw, and it was clear that the guy’s game plan was lightning lassoing me to death. Not to mention that guy had like 31k hp and I dont know what ilevel that is.
I trinketed first lasso and he just stalled until 2nd lasso, which basically won the game for him. Definitely note worthy pvp talent
Lasso is great 1v1 but its very situational in world pvp with melees zugging the ele and multiple interrupts on an enemy team. I try to use it on cd next to a pillar for maximum pain.
Think of it as a manageable convoke of spirits on a 30 sec cd.
I play with 9% haste and go mastery over haste
I really wish Lightning Lasso would be removed and the core issues surrounding Ele PvP would be addressed as it’s really holding the spec back.
I’m glad some people enjoy it but, to quote another forum poser, “Lightning Lasso is the least amount of fun both me and my target can have in 5 seconds.”
Thing is… we had those problems before lasso too soo… if they remove it we’ll just have those issues and be worse too.
