Or LtL, LLas, LtnL, LtLa, really anything but LL.
It isn’t personal standards, and I’m not sure why you’re being so rude. Its a matter of confusion prevention.
Edit: the second part wasn’t directed at you, Madalynn.

Edit: never mind… Not worth getting a forum suspension because I disagree with the shaman forum hall monitor.
Why do you feel the urge to be so rude, when I’ve done nothing wrong? I pointed out we need a new abbreviation, and for some reason you’re taking it as a personal attack. You seem like a very grown up, considerate person. A great man once said “argue with an idiot, and they will drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.” So I’ll avoid your angry, low level.
You consistently police other people’s posts and I have no patience for it. The funny thing is, this isn’t the first interaction we’ve had. You are simply so used to scolding other forum members, you don’t even realize you’re doing it. You stopped by this thread and added nothing but “LL means Lava Lash, no Lightning Lasso”. No one was confused by my post. You simply couldn’t pass up an opportunity to “teach” someone. If I could put forum users on an ignore list, I would have definitely added you long ago.
And you couldn’t wait for the opportunity to tell me off, which is obvious from the childish attitude you had from the very beginning. If you can’t see how having multiple skills abbreviated to LL could cause problems in the future (I guess it needs to be explained that I wasn’t worried about this thread), then there is no hope for you. You have no patience in general. I made a light-hearted joke pointing out we have a LL already, and you took it to heart, beginning your attack on me, because you are a child. A normal adult would have laughed my initial comment off, but you see it as policing, I’m guessing because of some misplaced youthful authority problem that you project onto anyone that disagrees with you slightly.
Hey! Don’t fight in front of my raptors. They’re very sensitive.
So anyway…
Lighting Lasso has the quality of being a little too good, “mandatory” if you will. This tends to bring the kind of Blizz-tention we don’t like. The “that talent is too good, gotta nerf it” kind.
Maybe, if it were indeed placed within the regular talent rows, the damage component could be limited to PvP interactions only? We’ve seen them balance things that way, like how Absolute Corruption is for Affliction.
