Yeah um… can we like allow more than 2% of them to be placed outside?
Cause even lampposts being Interior exclusive is a little bit ridiculous

Who has lampost indoors?
One neat thing you can do is scale lamposts up to 150-160%, flip them upside down to 0°, and then mount them in the center of your ceiling. Most of the bottom of the post will actually just clip up into the ceiling and be invisible, leaving only the lamp itself hanging from the ceiling. I’m doing it with the Crescent Moon Lampposts and they look way better than the Elegant Elven Chandelier, which actually is a chandelier. Especially since that one doesn’t even mount very well on a vaulted ceiling, but the upside down lamppost will. It looks amazing hanging from my heavily themed night elf rooms. It’s not super bright, but again, neither is the Elegant Elven Chandelier.
If you want something elegant and not just hanging candles, I suspect upside down lampposts will serve far better than any of the actual chandeliers. I can’t wait to get my hands on some others and try them too. I bet the Valdrakken Lamppost and Shadowforge Lamppost will be even better given they’re much brighter, yet still have tasteful designs instead of just being cheap candle chandeliers.
EDIT: After playing around with this a bit more, it seems this works easiest on octagon room with vaulted ceiling. Once flipped and placed in the center, it will automatically set the lamppost at the perfect height so the post is hidden in the ceiling but the lamp itself hangs down, so perfectly it looks like a chandelier. On flat ceiling or square room with vaulted, it initially will not place it at the right height. It will put the whole thing up into the ceiling. But if you adjust the vertical axis and bring it down you can set it to the same height. It will still snap into place perfectly in the center, so you don’t have to do any free-hand adjustments.

Been a few posts on this. There was an issue with the lights. So they made them inside only while they work on the problem.

Oh that is really cool I will try that for making my inside of the house less dreary
but mostly I meant lamppost as is.
Like I wanted to light my walkway a little but there are no real options. Just some string lights and the elune brazier.
I have a lamppost in my house… but its outside the walls in the grid-void on a patio thing lmao
