i LOVED being able to do thins in days long ago and would personally love to see this returned. Whats every ones take on this? maybe its something the devs might change if enough of us would like to see this returned in light of them looking for more feedback on classes. idk just a thought/something id personally like to see returned.

It’s back on alpha, a couple streamers have been using that ability that allows you to. It’s on a 2 min cd to move while casting or whatever.

having swg back for ele is super nice but im talking baseline being able to cast lb anytime while moving not during a 15sec window under a cd. it used to be a thing in cata (if im remembering correctly) and it made the class so much more enjoyable imo
Tbh I don’t think they will bring it back. It was during MoP I want to say, and they ele wasn’t the only caster to get (locks off the top of my head too). The CD being given to ele seems like their answer to not bringing it back
This would make Shamans too much like Fire Mages, who can cast Scorch while moving. We also can’t have Gust of Wind because Mages have Blink. They can have Time Warp and a better Purge though, that’s completely fine.
I mean having SWG as Ele is fine I guess. Could allow (assuming Ascendance doesnt suck comparatively) to be a great choice and not be ruined if you have to get out of mechanics.
In cata r sham could use lightning bolt while moving and it restored mana. It was fun haha
