Yes as someone said, lightforged is the dps race for draenei (ret) benefits directly from mastery + racial. If you want to tank or heal, the classic one is better

- Can be Monks, Shamans and Death Knights
- Clicky Racial is a pretty hefty HoT
- Passive Racial gives bonus stats to STR, AGI and INT, but not a heckuva lot.
- Can be Blue and Purple
Lightforged Draenei Perks:
- Have tattoos
- Also have SHINY tattoos
- Access to Yrel horns
- Nifty horns in general
- Clicky Racial is a LOW ORBIT HOLY ION CANNON
- Said LOW ORBIT HOLY ION CANNON does Holy damage, which means it benefits from Retribution’s Mastery which increases Holy Damage dealt
- Glowy Hologram Forehead Doodads
- Explode on death, healing allies and damaging enemies

Keep in mind, there are multiple zone paths you can take while leveling (at least until lv100) to get a different overall story experience between the two
I prefer lightforged , it goes with all the gold outfits in my walk-in closet
