I feel LFD needs more customization, so I’ll make a list of ideas that can be added as base LFD customization;
- Facial tattoo’s Similar to the body tattoo’s.
- Eye colors, they should be different shades representing the light, we can even go as far as to add different colors of eyes that represents the time of day (orange for the evening for example)
- Customizable hoofs with different adorning decorations.
- More head symbols!
I also feels that LFD alone does not properly represent the army of the light, as it had said in the past to have different races among it’s ranks. This means they are open to other races joining them, or had other races as members of them in the past. I think a model toggle can suit this race well.
The race models that should be available via model toggle that I think would work is as follows;
- Humans (SW variety): this is my first pick as we do see turalyon as the leader of the group. He is most likely lightforged like the rest of them. We should be allowed to play close to his looks in a similar fashion like how Void elves can look similar to Alleria. They where also present in the armies that went to Draenor that exploded. Even if they where not from the escapee’s, we could have members of the son of lothar join up to fight alongside with turalyon.
- Dwarves: This race has shown similar kindred to the light like humans do, they where also present in the armies that went to Draenor that exploded. Even if they where not from the escapee’s, we could have members of the son of lothar join up to fight alongside with turalyon.
Other possible races for model toggle;
- Thallassian elves: They where also present in Draenor, and could have possibly survived the explosion. They could have followed turalyon/alleria and fought with the army of the light. We could also use the Army of the light as high elves can possibly view them as an alternative to the more dangerous magic of the void.
- Lightbound Orcs (straight back only): Possibly as an unlock, coming to the world of azeroth to chase after the maghar, with the thought process of trying to save the alliance from what they perceived as a careless and dangerous to them on azeroth. They can arrive accompanied with Yrel. Adding these guys can be a good set-up for an evil alliance expansion or raid.
- Gnomes: I am unsure if gnomes went to Draenor also along with turalyon’s expedition. But there is sand-gnomes, so maybe they did? A small group of them probrobly escaped too. There is also the recent (cata) curiousity with gnomes and the light, as well as LFD having tech that they could possibly want to mess with and tinker with.
