May the Light ever guide me.
May the Light protect me this day.

I must look across the aisle to those I would call my enemy. Despite the hatred that separates me, help me see that there are qualities to respect in my opponent. As I acknowledge my own prowess, their own prowess should be acknowledged too. Praise the Light!
The Light compels us to have a concept of honorable combat. I beseech the Light on helping me honor myself and treating my opponent as I wish to be treated. Praise the Light!
Respect my opponent on the field, whether he be your brother or your sworn enemy. No matter where your beliefs truly lie, such respect is acknowledging a connection and in acknowledging those connections, I am closer to the Light!
