First time playing DK and I am as confused as heck over how to do this quest.
At first I thought it was some sort of battle. I’d show up and then so would a bunch of back up mobs.
Nope.
So I checked online and it’s a story quest. I talk to the quest giver, then talk to an NPC, and then a story plays out.
That’s not happening.
I’ve abandoned and it a couple of times and now I can’t even talk to the NPC. He just nods.
WTF is going on? Is this quest bugged? If it is and considering it is necessary to advance the character why isn’t it fixed yet?

Is that the quest where you run through the cave towards Light’s Hope Chapel? It’s on a timer as it is a zonewide event for all DK’s in the starting area. Ive waited there for 10 or so minutes before the countdown timer started.
Best thing is to accept the quest and then idle near the NPC until it starts.
I haven’t done it since the level squish, but I’m pretty sure thats how it worked prior to shadowlands.
I noticed there was some sort of event going on. Thought it was PvP which is something I never participate in. Not going to give the bullies any fun.
