Cone of light healing those in front of you.
Melee healer, so next to tank. Behind you is the ranged.
So i literally need to turn around and use it for minimal healing. Other classes need to do NONE of these things.

I love the idea of it but I also find it pretty useless, I have been thinking about removeing it from my bars so I can free one of my core keybinds for something else.
Unless I have an all melee group I find a hard time using this ability and hitting more than two or three people. Even if I do manage to hit 4 or 5 the healing is too weak for the effort.
All melee is the only time i would use it. Step back a couple steps, cast. return to position. In raid. i never use it unless we are stacked but EVERYOTHER class has a much better ability for stacked healing.
THIS, THANK YOU
LOD should be a smart heal on like 5 people within melee range of the caster… or something. the cone made sense when we were ranged in legion.
Maybe it should also blind enemies slightly, making them have a 5% higher chance to miss in melee resulting in dodges. Mainly because “miss” seemed to have been removed form the game.
If they aren’t going to make LoD usable in dungeon content then they could at least combine Maraad’s Dying Breath + Shadowbreaker, Dawn of the Sun legendaries sans mastery boost to WoG. Both of these are dud powers on their own and Hpal needs a stronger M+ healing lego.
I often find myself using LoD to deal with AOE threats. The only difficulty is positioning, and I’m glad we have to go through thinking of where to stand.
The numbers can be slightly higher, not gonna lie.
LoD for me is bound to 5, which is prime keybind real estate. I think I am going to remove it from my bars and press 5 and imagine I am using Rebuke as holy again so I dont accidentally waste HP.
Its a bad spell period, looks cool but bad heal.
The positional requirements would be okay IF it healed for ALOT more. Otherwise it should just be a light that radiates outward in 350 degrees and heals for more the closer the target is.
