Bing that the light and the energy used by warlocks are polar opposites. You would think that the light forged Draenei warlocks would explode after a while of using the warlock spells. Wouldn’t it be funny if the light forged draenei has a meter that filled every time they cast spells and once full they would explode in a light and shadow flame death taking everyone around them out regardless of friends or foe status.
Maybe they’ll finally get some use out of that useless on death racial…

Fel is Chaos. The opposite of Chaos is Order. Arcane is Order.
Light and Void are polar opposites.
So the Voidwalker and Shadow magic are a problem. One they’ll ignore.
What they needed was Lightforged demons.
But Blizz won’t spend the time to have things make sense for the culture and zealotry cult.
No, Light is directly opposite of Shadow (Void) while it is directly next to Disorder (Fel).
So by your logic Lightforged Draenei shouldn’t be Shadow Priests, but they are.

They turn back into regular Draenei when they’re turned into DKs. But Blizz wasn’t going to take away the customizations or not give LF the class, because reasons.
Shadow Priests for Lightforged aren’t a thing in lore. Just like Light wielding Priests for Undead weren’t a thing for Forsaken in the lore. Gameplay mechanics.
And gameplay mechanics won out over lore. Again. So it is what it is. They gave some bs answer to why they’re Warlocks that didn’t address actually being Lightforged and that’s the end of it.
I really would’ve liked to see class skins for these races, with Lightforged getting Lightbound demons. But here we are. As you said, lore has been getting messed up or ignored for a while. Just one more nail in the large 25,000 year coffin. 
Again, gameplay mechanic. In lore, they aren’t. Just like Forsaken weren’t Light wielding Priests in lore. Only Shadow.

Just throwing out there that warlocks absolutely do use void magic. Its not only fel that they use.
Literally nothing I said was out of context. Nor was there a misquote. In the game, you can be a Shadow Priest. In the lore, they aren’t a thing, just as Forsaken were Shadow in the lore, but we could be Holy as a player.

The Draenei have mastery with magic involving souls, look at Achindoun.
Also we could have Lightforged Demons, look at Lorthaxion (though he is a dreadlord and a agent of death). The only possible issue would be Voidwalkers which are shadow/void. But lorewise they could just not summon them, just as their are no Lightforged Draenei shadow priests in lore.
And as other have pointed out is the cosmological chart, Light and Fel are not polar opposites.
Death Knights are a bit of a weird case, we can have Lightforged Undead now so im not to sure how that works.
Lorewise Lightforged Draenei could then may only be Destruction Warlocks where they use Fire and Chaos magic then. Just as they don’t have shadow priests.

Lorewise there are no Lightforged Draenei Shadow Priests. And if there were the moment they use shadow magic they explode like a nuclear bomb.
Light and Void are like Matter and Anti Matter, combined they go boom.
You know in the lore, there is a few forsaken that uses Holy Magic.
