Light Blue Repeatable Quests

These are not as visible as GIANT YELLOW/GOLD quest-givers. The icon is smaller and is presented in a color that is harder to see. Why?

While it is “pretty”, it is much harder to see.

To distinguish them from quests which aren’t repeatable, I’d assume.

Personally I don’t think the blue is particularly hard to distinguish, but have you tried playing with the colour blind settings?

The light blue coloration is not as easy to see as the GOLD coloration that stands out from the background. While it does make sense to have different colors to distinguish between the quest TYPE, it does not make sense to use a color that blends into the background.

I am fully capable of distinguishing between BLUE and YELLOW, However, the iconification of these quests with a color that blends into the background is not a good UI decision.

The gold iconification stands out from the background while light blue blends into the background. Coupled with the shrinkage of said icons, it is not as easy to see.

I played around with the color-blind mode because of the Dragon Riding rings, but not with the new quest icons and I can tell you as a person that doesn’t have color blind issues turning on this feature makes the game unplayable. The icons are harder to see, and the color is a lot harder to see then normal.

Thank you. The issue is…yes, they are harder to see. Period. Full stop.

Something I have been noticing is quest givers with the blue icon above their head multiply into two NPC’s when interacting. Is this just happening in Pandaland or is it game wide?

Is it in MoP:Remix or in DF areas? I am genuinely curious.

I see it in the remix. I’m not positive it’s been every blue exclamation I’ve interacted with, but it’s been most if not all.

A someone who can’t tell the difference between blue and yellow, with Tritanopia filter on I can see them. The repeatable isn’t as “prominent” so to say, but it far from blends into the background.

I agree. I think they should change it to dark blue or just regular blue. That way they have visibility, but it doesn’t change the meaning of the color.

A solid black outline to the icon would solve this problem imo.

The light blue contrasts dark background and the dark outline makes it visible against light backgrounds.

i was gonna suggest they use orange but thats being used for legendary quests or storyline quest. Maybe pink would stand out more? or have it actually glow brighter blue?

You mean like they used to be?
