I don’t think making locks tankier is really the solution. The shadow fury change I can get behind for things like shuffle.
The real problem is that warlock is always hinged to a disruptive melee with 5 sec stuns to be effective. If Blizzard actually gave more melee specs a longer stun and better peels (and tuning their damage appropriately), the game would feel a lot better for casters in general.
Yeah sometimes you need to use it a bit randomly, not rare good player do it when people use their billion stop.
Tbh it’s better to do that as demo usually win in dampening anyway and it’s better to get something out that thing endlessly standing still casting a ‘’ perfect go ‘’.

I’ve only thrown up once in my life and I’m 30 years old. The only time I ever did was I had to eat the completely rare chicken breast.
Never barfed before so I laid in bed confused and thinking I was for sure passing away for hours until I figured out how to throw up
But warlocks complaining ever gets me real close to being a routine barfer

more made up garbage. post on your retail character so such moronic statements can be attached to a name
there’s 3 different destro locks, 1 of which is an alt. before the first main arms warrior LOL
and before we make the argument of structured destro comps, destro is higher than arms in shuffle and blitz
what you meant to say is that TERRIBLE warlocks are rerolling
this part is too hard for them to understand… as if warlock isn’t busted if a warrior isn’t on the other team lol and specifically “any other season”

Warlock feels good into everything but WW and warrior tbh. These 2 specs faceroll us because they have 100% uptime.
Everything else I feel like I can win if I play well.

Just a reminder, this is not about a R1 lock or locks at the top of the ladder. Or that he didn’t play text book perfect.
It is about the locks slugging it at 1800 and how they feel.
are we supposed to sympathize for the people who either don’t care to learn their class or can’t…? or is this thread a cry that you should be able to play utterly horrible into a better player and not die instantly?
it clearly isn’t a warlock problem, and historically speaking warrior’s only fallen off the higher you go up ladder… so the video is typically reversed in previous seasons. help me to understand

or you can be an unsympathetic elitist jerk with zero bedside manner.
if you care for the game and pvp, you should. Not everyone is born knowing all 39 hero talent specs. This game more than ever needs new blood. Understanding their problems is important, even more so - helping them. If they are increasingly facing warriors who curb stomp them at lower ratings, chances are they quit before they try.
There is a clear problem Warrior against Warlock where most of the pvp players are at. It needs to be addressed. There is no two way about it.
Also, he didn’t play utterly horribly. he made a mistake with position and it spiraled out of control but he did attempt to course correct. anyone can make mistakes.

not even gonna bother w this one, just know that as someone who’s played warrior and warlock. he didn’t deserve to live under any circumstance
the problem in poor play versus a warrior lies in the warlock’s durability yeah? as we’ve seen in the past with things like demon armor, when they buff warlock durability to the point that it won’t be forced to perpetually kite any warrior, it ends up facetanking the other melee
the class is given enough mobility and control that it can almost outright deny meaningful uptime from warrior, but especially any melee. to buff it’s durability for the bin-tier warlocks who can’t play decently, makes warlocks who understand manipulating positioning and movement absurdly broken
it’s a whole lot of words for get good

you are worried about top 0.1% and am concerned for the 60%.

blizzard has hacked and chopped to the patchwork we’re calling pvp now, in an effort to appease the 60%. for years now

They do whatever they can to keep the game alive so people like you and I can continue playing.
well with that said, hopefully they buff destro back to BFA levels so the game can return to it’s former glory
It actually is. The class has historically been a dampener but can no longer survive enough to make it there.
They attempted to shift it’s profile to setup/burst ( which isn’t what the class is meant to be) but that barely lasted a season before it was overnerfed.
Warlocks are very similar to warriors in the way they want to play ( generally speaking), it’s just that the playstyle has been stretched and twisted so much no one knows what the heck it’s role is anymore.
I mean mage of all things is now the dampener and the setup caster but lock is neither, how is that balanced design?

I hope you go to jail for that

So true.
How did the devs manage to make mage become more tankier, more mobility with both types of amazing burst/sustain and on specs that hardly need to worry about it’s casting anymore due to its toolkit.

Well, the only option was to trinket and blink before the bladestorm. Once he stuns and spears, you pretty much have to shield, curse of weakness, and eat it while casting as best you can. Most healers can even heal through it and the Warrior is immune to all cc while in bladestorm.
Well, when one of the top warlocks in the world is making the statement, I’m not sure that “learning the class” is the issue.
