Gotta give it to arthas. Vaders just a human. The fact he can snap someones neck or choke them across galaxy is irrelevant. Is the power of the force strong enough to break someones neck whos basically a demi god. Everyone in the world of warcraft has super human str in some form or another. Arthas can just shoot a death coil at him and he dies. If we wana include technology then sure u could say darth vader blows up the planet but the point was its 1v1. And vader has a light saber.

But the Lich King is undead so not only does he not need oxygen to survive, but he can also use dark magics to choke people at a distance. Also, the Plate of the Damned does for defense what Frostmourne does for offense, so he could probably take a few solid lightsaber hits. A lightsaber isn’t magic, it is just a super effective plasma torch.
wasn’t that simple she was so mentally distraught over his betrayal because before he left to join palpatine he confessed to her that he slaughtered dozens of jedi students in cold blood most of which weren’t even teenagers and it was too much for her to bear she basically lost the desire to live once the twins were born

Darth Vaders obsession with defeating death actually started when he a kid because of mommy all because he didn’t win enough money to buy her freedom in that race and she ended up being a slave for the rest of her life

Before Disney decided to f everyone up those 2 were the same Vader
No they weren’t. Vader wasn’t really all that relevant in the original trilogy, he was there but was never really displayed in a fight outside of fighting Luke - where he was largely holding back - and Obi Wan where it was mostly dialogue. It wasn’t really until Rogue One we saw Vader unleashed on the big screen. Disney kind of brought that to the forefront.

not to mention Darth Vader doesn’t have the Ashbringer and I highly doubt he can call upon the light to free him from solid ice and even with a light saber theres no way he can break free if he cant move it to melt his way out

Arthas. Himself undead, instant undead armies from the ground at his feet. Defile and remorseless winter(not the nerfy player kind either).Heartless(most literally) and Vader would not have the light on his side. In the end all will serve.

Arthas cut his own heart out and didn’t die, crushing his throat will just annoy him and make it so he can’t talk. Besides even death knights have a similar ability as force choke.
