Who wins, for this battle let’s assume Frostmourne can withstand a lightsaber due to the immense power in frostmourne, but none of the armor arthas has can withstand the lightsaber.
Both can use the full extent of their powers.
Vader wins. He can force-choke people to death from the other side of the Galaxy.

Yep. Even if he doesn’t just break Arthas’ neck, he can use the Force to predict his attacks as well as stop them, and can move his lightsaber much more quickly than Arthas can Frostmourne.
Hell, he could probably just use the Force to toss Arthas off ICC and be done with it that way.

Depends on the situation. Vader if it’s one on one. Arthas, at the end of the day, was a medieval knight with death powers. Vader has future tech and the force which can probs out do him.
But if Arthas gets access to a bunch of dead storm troopers, he could overwhelm Vader.

Movie Vader or comic/game Vader? 'Cause outside of Rogue One, movie Vader didn’t do a whole lot. Comic/game Vader though was… terrifying.

The problem with the Lich king verses X questions is that people forget, Arthas wasn’t THAT powerful fighting on his own. In fact, I’d go as far as to say that he was the weakest expansion final boss in terms of individual power, and that includes Y’shaarj Garrosh.
Meanwhile Vader can throw space ships with his mind.

Lich King using nothing but his magic fought off 10 to 40 people before being defeated Darth Vadar with 20+ years of dark force training and 90% borg implanted body got beat up by a lone naïve yet idealistic farm boy with only yellow belt level combat training who was mostly self taught

light sabers can cut people in half, even armor because the saber is made of extreme heat like a laser, not a physical sword. But the LK can freeze him and he’s robotic support system would fail. LK auto wins by by default of cutting life support systems easily.
Arthas was undead, so you can forget about force choke doing anything other than annoying him. Arthas can probably just use remorseless winter and freeze Vader.

Guys, keep in mind that Force-Choking would stop Arthas from talking, but it wouldn’t do anything else.
Arthas removed his own heart. He clearly needs no oxygen to live, like the Forsaken.

Not to mention DK’s have strangulate. Literally Force choke. And Bolvar tossed some Ice pillars around I bet Arthas could do that too, but it does seem Arthas liked using Frostmourn more to feed it rather then useing his Lich King powers. Bolvar rely only has the Powers and no powerful rune blade.

Well you also need to remember killing Luke was never the goal, his mission was to enrage Luke to make him fall to the dark side and join them, you can even tell he held back when he had many chances to kill Luke.
