I’m currently working on, [librarian of the reach], and just want to make sure I’m not missing something with the vault rotation.
The past 4-5 weeks the only books I’ve seen are the ‘living and opera/aspect’ books.
Is this just extremely bad RNG, or…?

I’m gonna make the obvious question….you’ve picked up all the ones in the open areas of Forbidden Reach, yes? If you have, then it may be stupid RNG. I once had over 50 kills on a non/rare NPC for an items with a 30% drop rate.

I did this achievement last year and I don’t remember any weird bugs, so hopefully you get it soon.

And yes, I have all the other books besides this one, and have been stuck on it for months.
Last thing I need for the whole Forbidden Reach meta too.
Just wasn’t sure if its been terrible RNG, or there was a way to cycle through different vaults.
Same thing this week, opera and living books.

Also wasn’t sure if its one of those ’ rare once every 6 month ’ cycle things.

It’s just rarer for that one to show up. It will pop eventually. Took me three weeks to get it to show up. Just use anomaly detection. Then if it’s not there, you don’t need to waste keys.

I got it a few weeks ago.
I guess it was just a matter of rng, after months, lol.

I just ran the vault on all of my alts until I saw the Old God book on one of them. The living and opera book are usually there, so if one of your characters finally have the old god book spawn, you can just go pick up the rest of the books in the Reach and be done! Once you have the achievement it will be account wide.

I have run the vault on 5 alts for 5 months and nothing other than Opera/ and Living book are spawning, the lil NPCs out front keep spam saying Vault Urr so it is a bug and the fact people are pushing it off as RNG is insulting.

Yeah, I was more on the “iffy” side of RNG as well (which is why I was asking), as it seems to be like a ‘once every 6 month’ thing.
But, just keep plugging away and you’ll get it.
