One of my favorite things about classic was finding the lore books around towns while questing. Last time I picked up books/scrolls from questing was in Outlands and I don’t recall any from subsequent expansions up to DF. Librarian has brought back that engagement for me and i’m hoping you continue to do this because a lot can be done with it. I think it would be a good idea to incorporate literature finding in archeology for those who RLY care about lore and their implications for the past and future.

They have always provided the little lore books. Even in Shadowlands. They always seem to provoke theories about the past and future of the game.
I like finding and collecting them as well. I just wish there was a bookshelf in the collections UI so we could easily see what we collected. And what we missed with the expansion they are from.
