Funny, my guild were just talking about this earlier tonight in Discord at our āMidnightā pre-patch party 
Was also good to see Alonsus Faol get some decent recognition in a cinematic video too.
Horde characters finally getting bone to chew on 
But yeah, WoW animated series would be great 
If they do the story of Arthas, they should totally flex by getting Henry Cavil to be his Voice-Actor Sure, a live action would be great ā but even a decent animated series with both good story telling + pacing and decent animation would be phenomenal

might be time and money and if they keep pushing out the series people would hate it at the end. complaining about the quality and such
If they simply stick to small narratives already held in place of which people have famously enjoyed & loved ā and conclude them in the way for a greater limitless future ā I think they could be really successful
Their first series would need to be a BIG swing though, to build confidence amongst their audiences 
Wouldnāt have to be the orcs coming into Azeroth to showcase āThe startā either, thereās plenty of fantasy seriesā which just dive into an already established world and merely hint at various past events ā Blizzard could easily do the same.

I agree but I think if they made an entire series and each season was based on one story or character. Get Amazon or Netflix involved, it would be pretty epic.

Yeah exactly!! The WoW universe has HEAPS of gloriously brilliant stories that SO MANY people would LOVE to see unfold in a series Even (arguably especially) animated.
- You have the old gods VS the titanforged.
- The rise of the troll empires + The Thunder Kingās Empire and fall.
- The surpassing Kalādorei Empireās glory, itās fall and their peoples splintered to multiple kingdoms.
- After the exile of the Sunstriders and their followers, you have the hardships they faced up to the ultimatimate founding of QuelāThalas.

- You also many MANY years later eventually have them and the Arathi humans pairing up against the Amani in the Troll Wars, with the ultimate outcome of the flame from the heavens.
- The Horde (orcs) entering through the dark portal and what whole schebang of a narrative.
- The rise of paladins with the eventual story leading to Arthas and the fall of Lordaeron ā¦
- The Fall of Quelāthalas story by the hands of Arthas and the Scourge, the fall of Sylvanas (and resurrection + vow to vengeance + rise of the Forsaken) and the ultimate rise of the Blood Elves would be AWESOME!!!
And many more 
Overall ā Blizzard are sitting on a glorious goldmine of stories they could use for multiple animated seriesā with their unique (and directly or vaguely connected) narratives to hold in their own right as a seperate series from others

I mean yeah I suppose, fair enough ā He has explicitly stated his neutrality, true enough ā However he does identify as one of the Forsaken, regardless to the factor of his neutrality amongst the Alliance and the Horde.
Having some Forsaken representation is probably the next best thing Hordies can get, even if itās not ātechnicallyā amongst them.

he is in fact one of very few forsaken the alliance will even tolerate the existence of, considering he is literally the man who consecrated the first paladins
Yeah, 1st and 2nd war would be awesome to see. That part of the story feels very much left in the shadows compared to wc3 and ancient past lore. Given how fresh and undefined so many of the details were in the first game especially, it would be awesome to see the story fleshed out and retold properly.
On the subject of Alonsus Faolās acceptance to the Alliance ā I mean ā¦ Not entirely 
Turalyon was about to strike him down and was FURIOUS at him being undead ā¦ It wasnāt until Turalyon searched for the light within him and saw he was the same individual, with the same soul and who held the same nobility within the confinements of the light of which he had in life.
Greymane was still outright against it too though, til Alonsus basically called him out on his $#!% and Greymane fled from his emotions lol
Iād argue thereās still quite a lot of contention and conflict to the overall nature of Alonsus ā and ultimately heās not quite necessarily accepted amongst the Alliance per-se, however is accepted amongst certain high-ranking members OF the Alliance That all having been said, thereās a few who may fit into such categories of both the Alliance and the Horde + vice versa.

as a character in the world, you best believe heās a KOS target
i feel like focusing on the first war was the movieās greatest mistake. to be real, itās quite possibly the weakest part of the lore when they couldāve done something like the (actual) burning legion invasions, war of the ancients, the scourge, hell even an expansion storyline. iād prefer they didnāt make another attempt to show off the first or second war until they at least produce something else on the timeline

Yeah, Forsaken characters overall tend to hold an underdog theme + risky approach amongst most races.
Heck even upon the Nerubians thereās reference / shade thrown at Lilian Voss by another Nerubian when discussing the nature of oneās transformation from the status-quo norm of their people and whether or not they should be allowed to live. lol
Thatād also be a REALLY cool thing to explore after the Forsaken broke free from the control of the Scourge and Arthas, along with Sylvanas Personally, Iād just rather hope they stay away from the total-vilification of her + the whole Shadowlands & Jailor arc I undoubtedly believe I speak for MOST players and enjoyers of the lore & stories of the WoW universe when I say that, ahahahaha.

Would quite enjoy a WoW animated series, only question is, what streaming service would it be behind.
