LGBTQ+ Megathread & Lounge (Part 1)

It should tell you how strongly you are the traits.

I recall when I did it I got INTJ and the I was like almost maxed out. The J was like 50%. The N and T were both much closer to 0 and have fluctuated

I vary between INTJ, INFJ, ENTJ, and ENFJ.

But like a true paladin I’m always judging.

I lost my interest when they started to mix Christian themes into the mythology. It went from Greek Mythos to Satan trying to be born.

I was gonna say there is a common theme here- judgmental!

I can’t help it. Especially when it’s righteous. I look down on hateful people. Especially trans exclusionists, racists, and so on.

See I am not judging at all, but I saw a part of description of ESTP that we have no patience for people who cant keep up and that is DEFINITELY me

Like the exact quote was “You are rarely judgmental, but you may have little patience for people who can’t keep up.”

So the general theory of MBTI is that certain people value feelings, or logic, or are more introverted/extroverted, but I find that to be very basic and meaningless. MBTI itself was built on top of Jung’s research in cognitive functions. There’s more value in that and I see it as more of a preference rather than a fixed stack that popular MBTI has turned into.

These are the functions:

  • Extroverted Sensing (Se)
  • Introverted Sensing (Si)
  • Extroverted Thinking (Te)
  • Introverted Thinking (Ti)
  • Extroverted Intuition (Ne)
  • Introverted Intuition (Ni)
  • Extroverted Feeling (Fe)
  • Introverted Feeling (Fi)

MBTI basically suggests that our brains develop to have a fixed functional stack.
E.g. I’m an INFP, so my stack is: Fi, Ne, Si, Te
If you flip those letters (e.g. Fi → Fe) then it becomes your shadow stack.
E.g. INFP shadow is: Fe, Ni, Se, Ti

And the order matters. So the first function is your ‘dominant’, second is ‘auxilary’, etc…
So that’s why I hope you can see why I don’t like the idea of pop MBTI. It’s too restrictive and kinda alludes to the perspective that people can only be 1 way.

Anyways. It’s a lot to get into lol. So I’ll short-cut things by focusing on the first 2 functions.

ESTP: Se+Ti (Extroverted sensing, Introverted thinking)
ENTP: Ne+Ti (Extroverted intuition, Introverted thinking)

ESTPs basically live and breathe physical sensation and awareness. They need to constantly be on the move and to absorb new experiences. Their physical mastery is honestly quite impressive to me, but with Ti as their second function, they tend to also be quite ‘hard truth’ type of people. But that goes more into how type relationships work. Some types respond well to it, some don’t (and this is often due to inferior (4th function), demon (8th function), and trickster (7th function) dynamics).

ENTPs are quite similar, but the main difference is that ENTPs are driven by ideas and abstract concepts. Whenever I observe someone who can’t stick to a point, and who often needs to play the devil’s advocate to things (cause of Ne+Ti interaction), I immediately suspect they’re either an ENTP or INTP.

Both types are really fun though. They tend to have a child-like playful energy about them, and love getting to know people and really getting them. But they also like to tease people as a way to help them improve.

INTJ: Ni+Te (Introverted intuition, Extroverted thinking)

INTJs generally tend to be visionaries, and spend quite a bit of time in their heads imagining scenarios and wondering about concepts. But with Te, they also have a drive to execute those things (with difficulty), but this combination tends to lead to quite a bit of obsession to ‘perfect’ things. Even if it’s just a thought in their head. Prone to cynicism, stoicism, fear of chaos. A lot of them also tend to be “I’m very smart, and people are beneath me.” Not trying to throw shade, but it’s just part of the ‘theory’ behind it, they’re just more direct and don’t really care to be ‘kind’ especially since INTJs have extroverted feeling blindspot, so they tend to be clueless about how people feel.

Geeze you didn’t have to call me out like that

Tbh you give me INFJ/ENFJ vibes. I’m leaning more towards ENFJ.

I’ll just put this in the hidden feature to answer

Summary

Early on in the new expansion you help a young dragon fix a duck plush. At the end there’s enough materials that you get one too as a toy that appears on your head

Then there seems to be aspects of both for me.

I don’t play devils advocate or don’t like to, but I am driven by ideas and abstract concepts lol, like my points are often unrelating until I bring them all in home w my last point tying them all back together and its often confusing for people to see how I went from all my points and somehow related them all.

I also feel this.

But I took 3 tests to figure out what HOTD character I was one refused to give me my results unless I paid so I disregarded and the other two gave ENTP then ESTP respectively.

Hang on, time to get the vibe of the thread back up.

Anyone here watch The School for Good and Evil? Kind of a shame it’s getting bad critics reviews because it’s extremely fun and entertaining. It starts off like a disney movie but it’s SO CAMPY

Yeah this is a big one, and it’s why I don’t really like typical MBTI. We’re all too complex. But I do like MBTI as a way of at least developing an understanding to figure ourselves out, and to perhaps also see if there’s anything out of alignment.

From what you described though, I sense a strong Ne preference. So you might want to look into ENTP/ENFP.

ENTPs tend to be the type of people who will take on like 100 projects, and leave everything unfinished (this is just an extreme to drive the point across). Their minds just work REALLY fast, and they get bored very easily. But when they are interested, they will obsess over every minor detail, then suddenly a flip switche and they’re like “my next adventure awaits!”

I had an ENTP friend once where she’d enjoy writing only during the plot formation phase, and once it’s time to execute things, she disappears lmao. They kinda remind of a typical Aries where they come and go very easily. But when they’re around, they have a lot of interesting stories to tell and tea to spill.

BUT, I do notice they tend to get into fights quite often. Often cause people don’t really get how they’re lacing a point within a joke, and ENTPs aren’t afraid to just confront things directly. Another interesting observation is that they are lively around people, but tend to be quite monotonous when they’re on their own. ENTPs really need people around them.

You could try looking into ENFPs though. They’re also extroverted intuition dominant. Have a very open mind to things. But they’re driven more by their personal values and duty. They avoid confrontation more, and care more about creating a positive environment for others. But I notice that they tend to self-doubt a lot. They want to be more organized and efficient, but need a lot of validation from people they’re close to. So they’ll ask a lot of questions like “do you think I should do this…”, “I have 3 options, what should I do…”

You say “big library” like that’s a bad thing.

“Quiet, the machine has spoken!”

I most often test INTJ.
