Because we would like a safeplace to talk about video game characters in the video game that are LGBT+? Does that help you understand better? All of this was at the first post, I advise giving it a read.

Not really because it’s automatically deemed “trolling”. Especially since I had this conversation twice, where there are some (not all) people here that believe the thread itself is either “not needed” and “serves no point”. Or, it needs to be created by drooling over female draenei, first.

I’m sure it was attempting to, but it’s just turned into another GD Lounge Megathread with just “LGBTQ+” in the title. Unfortunately, a “Straight” thread doesn’t get that same luxury, like this one. The closest to it is the “Women of Warcraft” thread which has just turned into a Music spamming thread (not that I care) LOL

As much as I want things to be equal, IK it’s wishful thinking. I’m just not going pretend like there’s no hypocrisy nor double standard practices going on.

I mean I suppose it’s a general thread w/ the title, but there has been genuine conversations about LGBT+ characters, and I post every now and then things I love about WoW, about 4-5 things I appreciate. There hasn’t been much to talk about without delving into Spoilers about DF. LGBT+ wise.

Some (not all) of the ones I’ve seen I haven’t perceived it in such a way. That’s kind of the issue is assuming bad intent with such threads.
